The first application field of this battery technology has jumped out of the automotive circle and will be applied to the aviation field. In addition, Ningde Times also said that it has been cooperating in the development of civil electric manned aircraft projects, implementing aviation-level standards and tests to meet aviation-level safety and quality requirements. At the same time, A vehicle-level application version of the condensed state battery will also be launched, which will have mass production capacity within this year.
At the press conference, Ningde Times introduced that the battery uses a high-power bionic condensed electrolyte to build a micron-level adaptive network structure, adjust the interaction force between chains, enhance the stability of the microstructure, improve the dynamic performance of the battery, and improve the efficiency of lithium ion transportation. More importantly, the condensed state battery also polymerizes a series of innovative technologies, including ultra-high specific energy positive electrode, new negative electrode, isolation film, process, etc., so that it has both excellent charge and discharge performance and high safety performance. According to the data released this time, the energy density of condensed matter batteries in the Ningde era has increased500Wh/kg, which not only means that the current data of less than 300Wh/kg in the field of electric vehicle power battery has increased nearly twice, but also means that it meets the energy density requirements of regional passenger planes. For aviation applications with a range of 600-1200km within 100 seats, electrification is possible.
If the condensed matter battery of Ningde era can be successfully applied in aircraft with higher safety requirements, it will be no problem to apply it to electric vehicles, which will also open up new application fields for Ningde era batteries. As stated in a statement by the Ningde Times,"The introduction of this cutting-edge technology breaks the long-standing restrictions that have restricted the development of the battery industry, and will open up a new electrification scenario centered on high safety and lightweight."
