1. Precautions for the use of vapor deposition furnace

1) When using hydrogen or decomposing ammonia, nitrogen should be introduced first, and the temperature will be increased when the air in the furnace is completely discharged to prevent whistling and explosion.

2) In the sintering furnace with molybdenum wire as the heating element, the protective gas is introduced into the furnace body before energization to prevent the molybdenum wire from oxidizing and embrittling.

3) The furnace door and exhaust port should be ignited and cleaned to prevent the explosion hazard and gas poisoning hazard caused by oxygen entry and hydrogen emission.

4) When the electric heating element is an iron-chromium-aluminum resistance wire, it will stay for a certain time (about 30min) when it is heated to 1100, so as to avoid damage to the surface temperature of the resistance wire.

5) Before heating up and during operation, check whether the air flow and water flow meet the requirements, and whether the equipment, electrical and furnace temperature control instruments are normal.

6) Turn off the power supply before stopping the furnace, and shut off the gas and water when the furnace temperature drops below 200.

7) Avoid frequent shutdown unless required for maintenance. Frequent shutdown of the sintering furnace will bring some disadvantages such as aging of heating elements, easy cracking of refractory materials, impure atmosphere in the furnace, and changes in furnace temperature.

8) Sintering atmosphere conveying pipe arrangement and cooling water cooling device After the production of powder metallurgy parts exceeds a certain scale, the sintering furnace needs sintering atmosphere conveying pipe arrangement and cooling water cooling device to ensure the quality of the sintered parts and the service life of the furnace.

2. Daily maintenance of vapor deposition furnace

1) After replacing the refractory materials of the new furnace and the furnace, dry the furnace and gradually heat up the oven.

2) When the 400 is below, open the furnace door to discharge water vapor. When rising to 700, please keep it for a period of time to make the temperature of the furnace body uniform.

3) The low melting point impurities (sulfur, lead, zinc, etc.) in the compact have a corrosive effect on the furnace material and heating elements. In order to improve the life of the furnace, the furnace chamber, especially the calcination zone, is regularly purified. Avoid adding sulfur and other elements to the powder metallurgy raw materials to avoid polluting the furnace and heating parts.

4) The furnace is cleaned regularly. When carbon monoxide and other carbon-containing gases are used, carbon will decompose from hydrocarbons, and part of it will accumulate on the furnace wall and heating elements, polluting the furnace, eroding refractories, and damaging electric heating elements.

5) Keep the furnace body clean and regularly clean up the iron sheet, broken graphite, zinc oxide and other sundries in the furnace.

6) The vapor deposition furnace checks the connection between the electric heating element and the wire to prevent the arc caused by poor contact.
